BIO

Casey Wehrman is an interdisciplinary artist with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture & Expanded Media from the Cleveland Institute of Art. Primarily working in multimedia, Casey blends sculpture, drawing, and printmaking to create conversations around the abject, human condition, and interior spaces. Topics Casey often pursues include domestic spaces, decay/grief, autonomy, the adornment of skin, and diet culture/societal ideals. These concepts take many forms as material and process are integral components of Casey’s work. Many experiments inform each piece, forming a diverse range of textures, dimensions, mediums, and visual language.
